ABOUT
Benjamin Bae Stackhouse Ferriby is a recipient of the Margot Fassler Prize in the Performance of Sacred Music (Yale University, 2022). He has enjoyed recent collaborations with Ensemble Altera, the multi-Grammy-winning The Crossing, Yale Choral Artists, and Yale Consort, having previously sung for the Choir of Canterbury Cathedral.
Benjamin began making music professionally at the age of nine, singing with the internationally renowned Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys, then under the music direction of John Scott. During his time with the choir he sang five services per week, recorded professionally, toured throughout the United States, performed at local venues such as Tiffany & Co. and the Yale Club, and sang for several formal occasions, most notably the memorial service for Sir George Shearing.
