ABOUT
Benjamin Bae Stackhouse Ferriby is a recipient of the Margot Fassler Prize in the Performance of Sacred Music (Yale University, 2022). He recently spent the 2024–25 program year with the Choir of Canterbury Cathedral, directed by David Newsholme (DoM) and Jamie Rogers (ADoM).
Benjamin began making music professionally at the age of nine, singing with the internationally renowned Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys, then under the direction of John Scott. During his time with the choir he sang five services per week, recorded professionally, toured throughout the United States, performed at commercial locations such as Tiffany & Co. and sang for several formal occasions, most notably the memorial service for Sir George Shearing.
